Microfinance and Microbrews Event!

Should the leaders of the most powerful nation on earth be doing more to address global poverty? Yes! Poverty should be a focus of United States foreign policy. Of course for moral reasons, but also for strategic economic and national security reasons as well.

Are you interested in learning more about US involvement in poverty alleviation? Have you ever wondered how you can get involved and have a global impact? Come join The Borgen Project on June 22, 2011 for "June Microfinance and Microbrews: Advocating Microfinance and Poverty Alleviation." Clint Borgen, the founder and Executive Director of The Borgen Project, will be discussing global poverty, how people across the globe are being mobilized to make poverty a political priority and how you can become an advocate!

We look forward to seeing you there!

When: June 22, 2011
Where: Spitfire 2219 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121
Light appetizers will be provided.
